The process
Buying property in Nigeria from abroad has always meant flying home, trusting family, or crossing your fingers. DiasporaKeys replaces all of that with a repeatable, documented process.
Every property on DiasporaKeys has already passed legal review and a physical inspection. What you see is real, available, and priced honestly.
A dedicated diaspora concierge answers your questions, arranges tours, and stays with you through the entire process — one person, one thread.
Our Lagos or Abuja team walks the property with you on video. Ask them to open every cupboard, check the tank, or knock on a wall.
Partner law firms verify title, encumbrances, and vendor identity at the Lands Registry. You receive the report before paying a cedi.
Funds sit at a Nigerian commercial bank. They only move when the title is registered in your name. No exceptions, no shortcuts.
We collect the keys, ship you notarised docs, and — if you want — furnish, list, and rent the unit. Rent remits monthly to your foreign account.
Browsing, video tours, and legal verification are free. We charge a flat 3.5% transaction fee only when your purchase closes, and only after title transfers to your name.
